MCNPX Workshops

MCNPX experts from Los Alamos will lead in the teaching of these workshops on the capabilities of MCNPX. VEC is organizing these workshops and will assist in the training.

 

Three levels of workshop are currently offered:  Introductory (for users with 0-1 years of experience), Intermediate (for users with 1-3 years of experience), and Advanced (for users with more than 3 years of experience).  The list of workshops below is somewhat tentative, as workshops may be added, removed, or modified throughout the year, depending on user interests.

For United States Workshops only:
Cost of the U.S. workshops is $2300 US with an early payment discount of $300 (i.e., if paid 30 days before the first day of the scheduled workshop).  This fee includes applicable Gross Receipt taxes.  Workshops with fewer than 10 registrants on the early registration date are subject to cancellation or rescheduling.

In order to process non-US citizens by the class date, non-US citizens shall register at least six weeks prior to the start of the training class.  All non-US citizens who reside in countries listed in the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 810.8, are required to register at least eight weeks prior to the start of the training class.  These participants must be processed by the DOE has been obtained.
